For those who want to be among the first to head into battle with IX Pommern and VI Erich Loewenhardt, we've prepared a special bundle in the Premium Shop, as part of which you'll get both ships at a discount, and some unique Iron Cross camouflages (including for Pommern), as well as commemorative flags, doubloons, signals, and other items.

Details

IX Pommern is a classic representative of German battleships that was named in honor of an Eastern German province. The ship is a variant of the H-type project battleship that is armed with triple turrets housing 380 mm guns as her main battery. Decent armor, as well as powerful secondary and torpedo armament, allow the ship a high degree of confidence in close quarters combat.

Key features:

  • Twelve 380 mm guns placed in four turrets comprise the ship's main battery, which has a firing range of over 21 km
  • The ship has a pool of 81,900 HP; large dimensions; and decent armor
  • She comes equipped with torpedo armament, powerful secondary armament, and Hydroacoustic Search for use in close quarters combat
  • She earns more credits per battle, and her permanent camouflage adds a 100% XP bonus per battle and reduces the cost of the ship's post-battle service by 20%

VI Erich Loewenhardt is an earlier version of aircraft carrier Graf Zeppelin that was named after one of the best flying aces of World War I. The ship was built on the basis of the A 1937 Project, but she enjoys a higher speed and has different hull architecture. The ship carries Junkers Ju.87C aircraft with torpedoes and HE bombs, as well as Bf109T aircraft with AP rockets.

Key features:

  • Her attack aircraft are armed with AP rockets and, except for the number of airplanes per squadron, are similar to the basic attack aircraft on board August von Parseval in terms of their characteristics
  • Her torpedoes have greater range, at the cost of being slower than those of researchable German carriers
  • Her bombers are equipped with HE bombs, which are atypical for German carriers. Diving is performed without gaining altitude beforehand, and the bombers' reticle is round in shape
  • She earns more credits per battle, and her permanent camouflage adds a 50% XP bonus per battle and reduces the cost of the ship's post-battle service by 10%

Armory Updates

The Armory now offers unique Commander Andrew Cunningham. The First Sea Lord and one of the most prominent admirals of World War II, Andrew Cunningham has a number of unique talents.

Soviet Battleship Slava

Soviet battleship X Slava can be found in the Research Bureau. This battleship with far-reaching artillery boasts good accuracy, effective AP shells with high penetration capabilities, and decent AA defenses, but her downside is rather mediocre armor.

Key Features

  • Nine 406 mm main battery guns placed in three turrets.
  • HP pool—91,800.
  • Unlike researchable Soviet battleships, the Damage Control Party consumable she carries has an unlimited number of charges.
  • She has a greater firing range compared with Kremlin—22.7 km.
  • She enjoys a reduced post-battle service cost compared to researchable Tier X ships, and her permanent camouflage reduces that cost by a further 50%, while adding a +100% XP and +20% credit bonus per battle.

Unique Upgrades

We've added new unique upgrades for X Daring, X Kléber, X Harugumo, X Kremlin, X Audacious, X Midway, and X Hakuryū. More details are available in a dedicated article.

New Signals

The updated Armory now offers new combat signals—Sierra Bravo and X-Ray Papa Unaone. They are available in the Armory in exchange for credits, Coal, and Research Points, and will later appear in the More Signals and Camouflages daily container.

Features of the signals

  • X-Ray Papa Unaone: increases the action time of Smoke Generator by 15%.
  • Sierra Bravo: increases the action time of Hydroacoustic Search by 10% and reduces the cooldown period of Defensive AA Fire by 10%.
