Containers and Collections

We announced the French Collection earlier -- here's how you unlock Collection Items!

In Parts 1 and 2 of our Vive la France event, you'll have access to a mission chains for French Containers. Each Container gives you the following:

That's right! Four French battleships-- Bretagne, Normandie, Lyon, and Richelieu -- are available a whole Update in advance through special combat missions! There are four different missions you can unlock from Premium French Containers. 

You can only unlock these missions while they're active. If you open French Containers after the missions end, the mission unlocks won't be available.

There are 4 combat missions that can be received from containers; no extra missions will be available if you receive all of them.

Missions 

French Addition

Starts February 9, 03:20 PT (06:20 ET)
Ends March 2, 03:20 PT (06:20 ET)

Unless stated otherwise, all "French Addition" missions are for ships tiers V+ and can be completed once per account in numbered order over any number of Random , Co-Op , or Scenario  battles.

Win five battles

(Victories don't need to be consecutive)

French Progression

Land 1,000 enemy hits with main guns and 25 enemy hits with ship torpedoes

French Ship Quest

Starts February 9, 03:20 PT (06:20 ET)
Ends April 13, 04:20 PT (07:20 ET)

Unless stated otherwise, all "French Ship Quest" missions are for ships tiers V+ and can be completed once per account over any number of Random , Co-Op , Scenario , or Clan  battles. "Base XP" is XP before bonuses from flags, camo, mission bonuses, etc. The missions below must first be unlocked via French Containers.

Battleships earned through the above missions come with their basic configurations, a Port Slot, a three-point Commander and fully researched/purchased modules. However, you won't be able to advance up the line until Update 0.7.2. In the meantime, you'll be able to transfer French Commanders to these ships without retraining. You'll also get a Commander Reserve Slot if your Reserve is already full.
